Michael Brent Webb, age 73 passed away December 18, 2018. Michael was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 26, 1945 to his parents Ezra Dale and Cora Helen (nee Oglesby) Webb. He is predeceased by his parents and his siblings Jerry and Dolores (Tom) Bainbridge. Michael is survived by his sister Marcella (the late James) and sister-in-law Judith. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Michael was a student of Roseville Public Schools. After graduating in 1963 he attended Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in 1968. He taught in the Roseville Public School District for 5 years and an additional 2 years in Livonia. Michael spent a few months in Savanah, GA however, he moved home when his father fell ill. When he came home he moved into a banking position at Bank of America and retired after 28 years. Michael and his mother loved having animals together. They had their dogs Missy and Jojo, and cats Blackie, Whity and Tom Tom. He was devoted to the care of all animals. He sang in the choir and was quite the musician in his high school and college years. Michael was an avid reader and enjoyed taking the little ones to shows. He loved to travel all over the South. His last trip was one of his favorites where he went on a cruise to the Caribbean to witness his great nephew David’s marriage. Michael was a kind and generous man. He loved his family and was very compassionate and empathetic. He was a wonderful dancer and would always have a line waiting to dance with him. He was an intelligent and educated man. He always strived to be the world’s favorite uncle. Michael will miss his family dearly.
