In the early morning of September 26th, 2023, Muriel B. Hannah passed away in her home with family by her side at age 89. Muriel was born on July 10, 1934 to Fred and Beulah LaChance in East Detroit, Michigan. Muriel was an extremely creative woman… crafts, catering, wedding decorations but her greatest love was being around the children and grandchildren.
Muriel is preceded in death by her father Fred LaChance, her mother Beulah, sisters Margaret, Shirley, Dora, brothers Alfred, Kenneth and her husband Ravian Hannah. Muriel is survived by her sister Pauline, her four children Fred, Ravian (Tracy), Thomas (Annette) and Terri (Patrick) Mach. Muriel is also survived by her 8 grandchildren, Stephanie (Kyle) Kowalski, David and Matthew Hannah, Haley (Michael) Weir, Amanda and Ravian Hannah, Andrew and Morgan Mach.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2023 from 2 pm to 8 pm at Resurrection Funeral Home, located at 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, Michigan 48038. The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023 at 10 am at St. Thecla Catholic Church located at 20740 S. Nunneley, Clinton Township, MI 48035. Friends may visit the church on Friday beginning at 9:30 am.
Internment is immediately following the church service and will be held at Clinton Grove Cemetery located at 21189 Cass Ave, Clinton Township MI 48036.
To celebrate the life of Muriel Hannah, a luncheon will be held at Buca di Beppo Restaurant, located at 12575 Hall Road, Utica MI 48317 at 1:30 pm.
