Najib was born October 25, 1942, in El Husun, Jordan. He immigrated to the United States in the late 1960s to attend Wayne State University. In 1970 he married Muntaha and together they owned and operated several businesses in Otisville, Roseville and Madison Heights, Michigan. He took risks, faced adversity, prevailed, and was able to retire at the age of 59.
His retirement was spent traveling, hosting family dinners, having coffee with friends, advising his son's businesses, snowbirding to Florida, giving love and attention to his grandchildren who all knew him as Jiddo.
Najib was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather who worked tirelessly to secure a great future for his children. Many of his friends knew him as Jim. Jim always greeted his friends and family with a warm smile, kind nature, and he took an interest in their life.
We will miss him dearly, including his infinite patience, his gentleness, and his quick wit. In honor of Najib buy a coffee for a loved one and cherish the time with them.
In lieu of flowers please donate to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
