Nancy Carol Spilski, of Harrison Twp., passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2018, at 74 years of age. Beloved wife of Robert for the past 36 years; adoring mother of Anthony Basila (JenniferBuckley), Stacey (Michael) Job, Jeff (Lisa) Basila, and Joe Basila; proud “Bubba” of Cameron, Allie, Kennedie, Christopher, Emily, Dylan, Lauren, David, and Saoirse; dear sister of Donald Giammarino and the late Al Giammarinaro.
Nancy was born on March 16, 1943 in Hamtramck to the late Anthony and Wanda Giammarinaro.
Nancy loved antiquing, and her knowledge of anything from the Victorian Era was vast, especially in jewelry and furniture. She was selfless, caring, and giving, with a smart sense of humor to match. Nancy dearly loved her husband, and her children…. But, a very special place in her heart was held for her grandchildren.
The family will greet friends from 3:00pm-8:00pm with a 7:00pm Rosary and Memory Sharing on Thursday, March 15, 2018, at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd., Clinton Twp. A Celebration of Nancy’s life will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, March 16 at the above location. In state from 9:30am until time of service at 10:00am.
