 Gary, Nancy was a wonderful person to us when we visited you both. We classed her as family and she will always be that to us. We will miss her terribly as we always felt loved and welcome every time we met. Our thoughts are with you from across the pond.

My dearest brother, Not a day goes by that i do not think about you and Nancy. You found something in each other that the rest of the world can only dream of. An unconditional and selfless love. Not only for each other but for all those around you. She will be greatly missed by everyone. She will live forever in our hearts and on our minds. I know she is in heaven looking down on us and smiling.

Ten minutes before the end of her mass, warmth and then a smile came over me. What a REVEALation! What a gift! I "get" it now. I look forward to speaking with you again real soon my dearest Nancy. Keep shining your Light!

Uncle Gary, you were a very lucky man. Nancy was a fantastic woman and was like a mother to me. Through everything, she would always show her strengths and hide her weaknesses. She will forever be loved and remembered. Whenever I see the sunshine through my window, I see her. I see her looking down on us telling us that she is in a better place now and she will not suffer anymore. She is my guardian angel and will forever be. I love you.

Dear Gary,

Our friend, Nancy.  I say “our” because she was a friend to so many and yet, when in your company, made you feel like you were the special one.  I am so very thankful that our paths crossed in this life time. To pick one special moment out of the many years I have known Nancy, is impossible because our friendship over these many years just kept growing from the first time we met.  It kept getting better.  She loved my two boys as if they were her own.  If you needed a helping hand, Nancy was there. The song, “Nancy With The Laughing Eyes” partly describes her beautiful face.  She was a shining light in my life and that light will continue to shine in my book of memories.

Since 1968, Nancy has been in my life.  There are so many memories of her that I will forever cherish.  I have known Nancy as a neighbor, a boss, but mostly, a great friend. In each case she was always full of love, smiles, and never a downer.  I  remember when I was a kid, she would make meals for me, and say “I love to watch you eat”. She just loved making people happy.  I am proud to have had the honor of knowing Nancy!  She will stay with me forever!

Nancy was a wonderful caring person who always put others before herself.
In that last 5 years we became very close and talked daily and sometines 2 times daily.
She was there for me when my mom passed in May 2011 and helped me tremendously with my grief.and for that I will be forever grateful..
  My only regret is that we didn't become that close sooner.

Gary, Nancy exemplified what friendship is all about.  Inside burned a flame to help others; whether it was with a smile or a hug or just being a friend lending her shoulder.  She listened, she hugged, and she listened some more.   No matter what her challenge was she would always defy the odds and challenged us to do the same.  She approached life with a bright smile and that â€˜I can do anything, and watch me beat it' attitude that would inspire us to keep fighting no matter what the odds are.  She was quick, and witty, and funny and what I'll remember most; resilient.  Nancy smiled and we all felt better.  Nancy smiled and we loved her.
