Pamela "Pam" Gerlach passed away on November 23, 2022 at the fiery age of 64. She was the beloved wife and forever soul mate of William "Bill" Gerlach for over 35 years. Pam was the generous and loving mother of numerous rescued senior fur kids, her latest are Max and Maya, who are lovingly spoiled in their forever home. She was the dear sister of Michael (Joyce) Leszczynski and Curtis (Tami) Leszczynski. She was the caring sister-in-law of Ken Gerlach, Diane Egan, and Dave (Jill) Gerlach. Pam is also survived by many wonderful nieces and nephews.
Pam faithfully and tirelessly worked in the retail banking industry for over 40 years. Her most recent time was spent with PNC Bank (Manager) and Talmer Bank (Identity Theft) before her illnesses forced her early retirement. Pam was always ready to go at a moment's notice and enjoy traveling, camping, and just relaxing anytime with Bill and their fur kids in their personally designed ShowHauler motorhome and in later years, in virtually any type of RV. Some of her favorite places to visit were Frankenmuth, Cherokee Mountains, and Mackinaw City. Since her youth, Pam always enjoyed dancing and competed in countless dance competitions. Her favorites were tap and jazz. She had the greatest, gentle heart and devoted many hours of her time to multiple organizations. A few that were closest to her heart were The Transplantation Society, Gift of Life Transplant Olympics, Sacred Heart Bible Study, Mary's Mantel, American Business Women's Association, Wolf Conservation Center, Closer to Home Animal Advocates, Northern Lights Sled Dog Rescue, and the Hairy Houdini Siberian Husky Rescue. Pam’s heart of gold, beautiful & vibrant smile, and can-do attitude will be truly missed by all who knew her. She will forever be in our hearts.
A memorial gathering for Pam will take place on Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm with a 12:00pm service at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road in Clinton Township.
