Patricia “Nancy” Jankowiak passed away peacefully on July 18, 2021 at the age of 87. She was the loving wife of the late Jerome ”Corkey” Jankowiak for 56 years. Nancy was the beloved mother of the late Denise Jankowiak, the late Kelly (Michelle) Jankowiak, Paul (Karen) Jankowiak, Lisa (Greg) Brown, and Kathleen (Fred) Wilhelm. She was the cherished Nanny of Cameron Jankowiak, Alexis Jankowiak, Allie Jankowiak, Noelle Jankowiak, Holly Mazzola, Jessica Brown, Shannon Brown, Lauren Wilhelm, and Freddy Wilhelm.
Nancy enjoyed trips with her husband Corkey to Hawaii, Aruba, and Vegas. She was the biggest supporter of her grandchildren’s school activities and was always at every band and dance recital. She took great pleasure in spending time with her friends. Taking trips to shows, attending book club, playing Bingo, cards and board games. In the last year Nancy really appreciated the time she could spend sharing a meal with her children and grandchildren. Her beautiful smile, quick wit, and loving personality will be missed by everyone who knew her.
A visitation for Nancy will be held Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road in Clinton Township. A funeral mass will take place on Friday, July 23, 2021 at 9:30 am at St. Michael Catholic Church, 40501 Hayes Road in Sterling Heights. Friends may visit the church at 9:00 am on Friday.
