Throughout his life, Paul was deeply cherished - someone whose presence carried steady reassurance and whose love was felt in the everyday moments that matter most. He approached life with the dignity of a hard-working man, meeting responsibilities head-on and doing what needed to be done with quiet determination.
Paul was a loving Husband, Father, and Opa, devoted to his family in ways both constant and unmistakable. His resilience and strength shaped the way he faced life’s challenges, and even his stubborn streak - so familiar to those closest to him - stood as a testament to conviction, perseverance, and a will that did not easily bend.
Paul is survived by his loving wife, Evalynn; children: Paul (Debbie) and Karin (Tom); grandchildren: Ryan (India) and Lauren; sister, Kathryn; and loving nieces and nephews. Paul is preceded in death by his parents: Vilma and Eberhard Drettmann.
A memorial gathering will take place on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 10am until the time of the memorial service at 12pm at Kaul Funeral Home - 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Twp, MI 48035. Paul will be laid to rest at White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery following the services.
Paul Eberhard Drettmann leaves behind a legacy of devotion, steadfast love, and a life marked by strength. He will be sincerely missed and respectfully remembered.
