We meet Paula & Rubin at Zion. They both were such Godly examples of what a Christian should be. Paula’s testimony impacted our lives of such strong faith and trust in the Lord. Her gentle spirit, her wonderful smile, her humility. The wisdom she had and words of encouragement to everyone. She surely was a Proverbs 31 Women of God. She will be missed by everyone. So sad for her painful last days, which is so hard to understand. We love you Paula and will be truly missed

What a privilege it was to have known Paula and Rubin Agauas. My mother and I met them through Scoop and Dorothy Wilson when we first came to the Bethesda Missionary Temple. We were dirt poor back then. They welcomed us with food and fellowship and became friends. Rubin helped find us some slightly used tires that still had good tread for mothers car. They were the best encouragers.

As I sat thinking of our friends Reuben and Paula during our years past at Bethesda Christian Church on Nevada and VanDyke, memories raced through my mind of their faithfulness . To their children and and grandchildren Grandma and grandpa have left a memorial stone of: Love, Joy, Peace, Patients, Goodness, Kindness, Gentleness and Obedience to the Lord. Both were known for their Prayer and helping the needy all of which is a Memorial offering to God our Father. They will be remembered by us as servants and Friends of God. May their legacy Bless all who follow their Faithfulness. Because your loving kindness is better than Life. Psalms 63: 1-4

Mrs Agauas was an amazing woman. I met her in Sunday school. I remember her telling her story about surviving the nazi’s. I recently visited auschwitz and I thought of her the whole time. I haven’t seen her in many years but i never forgot her story. Thank you for inspiring so many people

I want the family to know how many people Reuben and Paula affected. Our friendship was at Bethesda Christian Church, and my husband, Joseph, thought Reuben was "the cat's meow." Paula and Reuben were steady examples of family love and commitment as well as commitment to our Lord, no matter what comes our way. May you all be comforted that your beloved mother is now in the ultimate care of our Father. Fondly, Linda Cadariu

Paula was a mother in the Lord to us as we began our journey as young ministers. She especially helped me (Sherill) at a very difficult time in my life & led me to renew my walk with the Lord & baptism in the Holy Spirit. She will be greatly missed & always was a strong support in prayer & the love of God.

We knew Paula from BETHESDA Missionary church. We listened to her testimony about the needle in a haystack and thought how frightening an experience it must have been. Rueben and Paula were good friends. Haven’t seen them in years as we have been living in Gladwin MI FOR almost 40 Yrs. Will see her again in heaven! RON AND MARY GRAY
