Doug and I always loved being with Pauline, George, Lee and Tom. They were such fun-loving people! I saw some of the dresses she made from pillow cases. Such a work of love!
Our sympathy to all her family from

George and Susan, my condolences in the death of your mother. It is difficult especially at this time when families are restricted on gathering and sharing memories.

I was lucky enough to know Pauline through my cousin Susan Weertz. My mother, Rose Bass, also lived at Oakmont. We were able to see Pauline and George while visiting . Pauline was a kind, loving and giving woman. I so enjoyed seeing her baby dresses that she made out of pillow cases for charity. She was quite the seamstress. Rest in Peace, Pauline!

Each of Pauline's children had a "job". I was blessed to be her playmate. We did crafts together. Boy, she loved her crafts! I'm sure most of you have one of her little gift box creations lying around. Or perhaps you heard her story behind the pillowcase dresses for African children of which she made thousands. Our favorite store was Joann's Fabrics. I will always cherish the memory of her first ride on a motorized scooter in a Joann's. She only hit one rack, but did leave the cart in the middle of the store when the stress got to be too much! I miss my playmate already but thankful for the wonderful memories. Love you, Mom.

I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of Pauline. I have fond memories of her as a sweet, kind and loving person. My mother so enjoyed the company of George and Pauline when they lived together at Oakmont Parkway. My sincere condolences to her family, friends and all who loved her.

When we leave this earth, the love that we've given and received, remains behind to light the lives of those we've touched. Rest in peace, Mrs. Weertz.
