Peter A. Caterina

Peter A. Caterina, of Clinton Twp., passed away on March 18, 2019 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Celeste for 40 years; adored father of Peter (Brenda) Caterina, Rose (Ken) Cole, Anthony (Mary Ann) Caterina, and Charles Caterina; proud grandpa of Amber, Peter, Lethina, Theresa, Courtney, Stephinie, Christina, Danielle, and Kenny; great-grandpa of Tyler, Rayne, Paige, Caiden, Corbin, Mason, Bronson, Filip, and Bianca; dear brother of Anthony, the late Marie, and the late Rosemarie. Peter is also survived by his close niece, Donna Leyko, and close nephew John Ames; and extended family members.

Peter was born on March 28, 1937 in Staten Island, New York to the late Anthony and Rosalie Caterina. He proudly served his country with the Air Force from 1954 until 1962.

The family will greet friends from 11:00am until 8:00pm on Sunday, March 24 at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Rd., Clinton Twp. Committal service with military honors will take place at 10:00am on Monday, March 25 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd., Holly, Mi. Please meet at the gates by 9:45am.
