Phyllis D. Jay, age 95, passed away on December 20th at her home in Clinton Township. Born to the late Emil and the late Lydia on April 9th of 1926; beloved wife to the late Bill Jay; loving mother to Lydia Jay, Nick (Araceli), the late Clifford (Ruth); cherished grandma to Sarah, Daniel (Jennifer), Brandon (Vanessa) and the late Ryan; great-grandma to Greyson, Emilio, Giovanni; she is also survived by her godson John Michael.
Phyllis was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church as well as St. Luke’s Young at Heart. She also was a member of Mt. Clemens Art Association. She also won numerous state and local awards for her floral paintings.
Phyllis will be laid to rest next to her husband at Clinton Grove Cemetery on Wednesday, December 22, 2021.
