Thought I needed to write to you today.  Been 4 yrs today.  How can that be?  4yrs since I have heard your voice.  4yrs since I could reach out and touch you.  I miss you every single day.  I want to call and tell you all that is going on.  I want to scream some days.  No one but you and I know how things were.  I am sorry we didn't get to have the golden years together.  I am sorry we wasted some of our lives with pettiness.  I miss you.  Plain and simple.

I just re-connected with Rae a few months before her passing. Rae and I have known each other since we were 13. We were such close friends and Rae was the first girl that I could talk and talk and talk on the phone with for hours.  She was a great listener.  But more than that she had a huge heart with a lot of compassion. I had talked to her two days before she passed and was in complete shock when I heard the news.  I will miss you with all my heart and soul and one day we will meet again.  I pray for Rae's family thru this difficult time and I can only say that she was one classy woman.

I'm so glad you were in my life! I will miss you! I'm so sorry not to be able to meet you this summer! I will keep putting flowers on Donalds grave and I will put them for you too! I'm happy that you are reunited with Donald and say hi to Richie. Forever in my heart!!! We'll meet some day. 

rae was my best friend through thick and thin... knowing i have to be without her calls and hugs and road trips and scrabble and poker and  i am lost without her...my heart will never be the same...love you rae rae <3 until we meet again you will forever be in my heart<3


I only met Rae once, sadly shortly before she died.  But, I felt a kind soul and was so glad to meet a fellow hugger.

My beautiful cousin Rae. We shared alot and I'm so thankful we reconnected after so many years. You always looked for the best in people and I'm sorry your heart was shattered in so many ways.God received another Angel. I know you were welcomed by your son and you are at peace now. We laughed we cried together but most of we loved each other unconditionally.  RIP cuz until we meet again . I love you and I will miss you everyday. Fly high Love Judy

We shared a lot of tears and we shared a lot of joy.  There is not just one memory I could share.  My sissy is gone....no more singing "Sisters" from White Christmas.  No more calling each other to see what we think of Dancing With The Stars.....no more planning vacations .....No more birthdays together.  My mind cannot comprehend that you are not out there somewhere.  I love you Rae....and I thank God for letting me tell you everyday for the last week of your life...I wish I could do it all again.
