I will always remember Ray for his  jokes, laughter and smile.   
When I think of him I will remember him for the happiness he shared through his rumor.

Ray, I knew you since we were teenagers.  You later welcomed me as a sister-in-law, and we had many great times together as the family grew larger  with all the weddings and kids.  I was honored to be the godmother of your only daughter.  You even became close with my siblings and remained close with all of us over the years.  You were always a wise guy and loved to tease.  However you only teased those you cared for and I was thrilled to be one of the recipients.  I will  always remember the mixed softball tournaments and leagues we participated in and being your bowling partner when Melanie had surgery.  I will always be there for Mel and the kids in whatever capacity they need.

I never knew your husband, but I know he must have been a wonderful man. You always smiled or laughed whenever you talked about him even after nearly 30+ years of marriage. It was easy to tell you had a happy home. You were always anxious to leave work every day to get back to your family and even more ecstatic when you started working from home permanently.
