Two months later and I'm still numb. Every day I shed a tear thinking about you. Nothing's the same anymore. I miss you so much and I will never stop laughing at our jokes. Hope you're having a good one up there. I'll see you soon. I love you..

Our home is so empty with out you here. Not a day goes by that I we don't think or talk about you. You will forever be in our heart. I promise you that we will always take care of Cindy and Chase. When I look at my precious Chase I look at you. Give Jesus a great big hug from all of us. You will never be forgotten.

You were taken from Chase and I and now my heart has been shattered into many pieces. Not a day has gone by that I wish that this nightmare would end.Chase and I know one day we will meet again. Thank you for the best 20 + years with you. Thank you for giving me a mini you for me to take care of. Rick, I am at such a loss for words right now. We were best friends, like brothers and 24 years just isn't enough time. I will always remember the goods times we had from watching sports with my boys to all "the fancy" meals we used to cook the girls on weekends. Not a day will go by that I won't think of the good times, so many good times. Til we meet again in Heaven, I Love You Bro.

I heard the news clip on the radio and recognized the name. They mentioned his age and I did some quick arithmetic and didn't like the result. Ricky was probably 8 the last time Sandy and I saw him. I don't want to imagine what the loss of a child feels like. It's a great and disturbing cosmic injustice. I'm sorry for your loss and pray for your families.

Rick was a husband to, my best friend/sister, Cindy and a father to their son Chase.  He loved them both dearly and was taken away from them way too soon.  Rick enjoyed spending time with friends and family and was always good for a laugh!   Rick enjoyed watching sports and was a huge U of M fan and loved watching wrestling.   He also enjoyed seeing the newest movies every weekend. You will missed Rick!  R.I.P.  love you!
