Richard Doherty, age 93, passed away April 7, 2015 in Clinton Township. He was born September 16, 1921. He was a WWII Army Veteran. Family members said he enjoyed playing cards and being on the senior men’s baseball team. He liked to watch sports on TV and playing euchre and cribbage. He was the husband of the late Cecilia. He was the dear father of Richard D. (Terri) and Kristine (Roger) Owens and Grandfather to Keri (Gary) Marshall and Kyle Owens. He was the great grandfather to Brynn. Visitation will be Monday 3-9PM, with a rosary 7PM at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes, Clinton Twp., MI 48038 and Tuesday 9AM until time of service 9:30AM at St. Paul of Tarsus church ( Romeo Plank at Canal). Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery.
