I would like to express my sincerest sympathy to the Lietz family. I was fortunate to have worked with Dick at Michigan Consolidated Gas Co. for many years. We both played softball and golfed in the Golf League for quite a few years. Dick was a great competitor and we enjoyed many "friendly" contests in both of these sports during the years. Most of all, he was a truly fine gentleman and was a great husband and family man. When I did see Dick, and it was usually at a golf course, we always had some conversation about our recent golf trips. His were always terrific venues.
I am sure he will be remembered as a "really great guy" to many of his friends and family. He will certainly be missed>

My condolences Nan. Dick and I were teammates in the ANR golf league for many years. Dick went through a spell where he struggled to pull the trigger on his swing and would stand over the ball wiggling his toes for several minutes. He took a lot of good natured ribbing, but he would take as graciously as he dished it out. I have so many fond memories that he will never be gone.

Nanner,
I am so, so very sorry to hear about Dick's passing. My very sincerest condolences to you and family. I'll always remember how Dick hung out with the "little" people when we were still at ANR. I always liked that about him. Again my condolences.

Love, Vivian
