He was the beloved husband of the late Shirley Stewart; loving father of the late Timothy Stewart and Jacqueline (Ronald) Redmond; father-in-law of Roma Stewart; devoted grandfather of Benjamin (Jessica), Ryan, Christopher (Michelle), Brittany (Tom), and Courtney; proud great-grandfather of Ashten, Domenick, Megan, Oscar, Hudson, EJ, Jaylen, and Lula; dear brother of Patricia Mason, Ronald Stewart, and Rosemary Russell.
Richard was proud to serve his country in the U.S. Air Force. He worked many years at Chrysler as a machine repairman. Above all, he was a dedicated family man and friend.
Visitation Tuesday, March 21, 3 – 8 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield, Clinton Twp. Instate Wednesday, March 22, from 9:30 a.m. until the 10 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Thecla Catholic Church, 20740 S. Nunneley, Clinton Twp.
