Richard J. Szczesniak, age 92 Passed away October 12, 2014 in Warren. He was born November 2, 1921 in Detroit. He was a WWII Navy veteran and retired from the Chrysler Corporation. Family members said he loved baseball, golf, and being active in his church. He was the husband of the late Janey. He was the father of Richard, Terry, Gay Ann (Bob) Salatrik, Janey (Marty) Mosakoski, Tina, Roxanne, Darrell and Darlene. He is also survived by 11 grand children and 11 great grand children. A memorial mass will be held Saturday, October 25, 2014 at St. Barnabas Catholic Church in Eastpointe, MI. The inurnment will take place in Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township, MI 48038. Memorials may be made to St. Vincent de Paul or to St. Barnabas.
