Rita Joan Cowan, a resident of Fraser for over 35 years, passed away on October 3, 2018, at the age of 74. Rita was one of eleven siblings born to Carol and Mary Jurcak on March 13th, 1944. Beloved wife of the late John Cowan; loving mother of William Young Carr and the late Daniel James Carr. Rita was a manager at Tacom for many years. Some of Rita’s favorite pastimes were gardening and having a four-legged companion by her side.
The family will greet friends from 1:00pm till 8:00pm on Thursday, October 11th, at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Road, Clinton Township. A funeral mass will take place at St. Margaret of Scotland on October 12th, visitation will take place from 9:30am until the time of mass at 10:00am.
