Nancy, Ellen, Bob and Karen ,

So sorry to hear about Uncle Bob. I'll always remember our family Christmas get togethers and occasional get togethers in the summer. Many times I remember Friday nights when Uncle Bob would come to pick up my dad for bowling. My dad would always say--"Who's there?" and I would say "Uncle Bob Brandau" because sometimes it would be Uncle Bob Graham.

Bob was a wonderful person. Alway enjoyed speaking with him at church. May he rest-in peace.

I’m a very fortunate person, I went from calling Robert (as his beloved Jane would called him) Uncle Bob and now Dad after marry his daughter Ellen. What a great husband, father, grandfather and all around person. What a great life we all had with you. You are one of kind and will be greatly missed.

My favorite memory of Grandpa Brandau was when he and I stayed up watching Westerns a couple of years ago. We watched "The Dark Command" and talked about the Tigers and baseball in general. He always made me feel like part of the family and never made me feel like I didn't belong even though I was different.

You will be missed, Grandpa.
