Robert James Cukr

Robert James Cukr, of Macomb, Michigan, passed away surrounded by family on February 6, 2025. Born in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, on February 13, 1945, Robert was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. His love and devotion to his family—especially his wife, Maryanne, with whom he shared 57 years of marriage, and his grandchildren, Bradley and Nicolas—was unwavering.

Robert, the son of Vera Bischoff Cukr Lieb (Bud Lieb) and Chet Cukr (Jocelyn Harris Hill Cukr), is survived by his beloved wife, Maryanne Micelli Cukr; his children, Robert Cukr Jr. (Cynthia Evans), Maria Cukr, and Sean Cukr (Deborah); and his grandchildren, Bradley Cukr and Nicolas Cukr. He will be fondly remembered by his cousin, Steven Walden (Kim), and stepsiblings, James Hill, Joseph Hill, Judith Hill Robertson (Brian), and Jerry Denton. Robert was preceded in death by his son, Andrew Cukr, and stepbrother, John Hill.

Bob was proud of his career and accomplishments as an engineer for Chrysler Jeep/Truck division. He enjoyed collecting and displaying vintage toys.

His children will forever cherish the wisdom, guidance, and unwavering support he provided throughout their lives. He will be truly missed.

A visitation for Robert will be held Monday, February 10, 2025 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Kaul Funeral Home. A visitation will occur Tuesday, February 11, 2025 from 10:00 am until a Funeral Service at 11:00 am, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035. Entombment at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township, Michigan.
