My condolences to Gwen and his children. Bob was a wonderful neighbor and friend to our family for many, many years. What is said about him calming a baby is so true as he held both of my children as neighbors on our porch and was able to calm them right away. After Bob moved, he would come to check on the house and sit and talk with us for hours. He had great stories and advice!! You will be missed by many. Love and Prayers to his entire family and all his friends. Love your Alma Drive Neighbors, the Gerrick Family💙

Although Bob was a fairly new members to our club, he was often seen at club meetings, events, and work parties over the past few years. Bob was an avid indoor flyer and participant in the Wednesday morning Field Crew get together breakfast and fly and would often help the crew in any project they were currently working on. Bobs voice of reason, wisdom, as well as his determination to find a way to help despite any physical disadvantages he suffered in his age will always be a great memory and lesson, and his tenacity to serve will remain as an inspiration to us all.

Gods Speed to you, Bob and strength and peace to your family.

Oh what a sad day for our class of '58 from DeLaSalle High, Detroit! I never got your way Bobby since your move with Gwen to Waterford. My earnest regret. From the day my Dad died in 1956, as your dad adopted me as his for the Father's Club at DLS, you and he became special people in my life. Your love for your past and present family is unique, special and so permanent a gift to them and to all of us kids, our memories of another time, place, a school where indeed ... boy's became men! We'll miss you until that day soon when we all meet again!
