Robert Harold Haise Jr. was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 31st, 1949 to Robert Harold Haise Sr and Olive (nee Jackson) Haise and passed away in his sleep on August 28th, 2026 at 77 years old in Sterling Heights. He leaves behind a ton of great memories; playing card games, taking golf (a little too seriously sometimes), travels around the world, lazy days floating in their pool, teasing and playing with dogs.
He has been with his wife, Pam since 1966, married in 1969 after flying separately to Hawaii from his tour as a military cop in Vietnam. They made their home, first in Sterling Heights and then in Shelby Township.
Survived by his children Michelle (Dennis) Gamble, Michael (Genet) Haise, and Kimberly (Chano) Gamez. Grandchildren Elisa, Hailey, Oliver, Nathan, Natalie and great-grandson Alex, along with sisters Cathy and Sue, and many nieces and nephews.
Dad’s final round is over. May he rest peacefully, knowing he was loved, he made a difference, and his humor, stories, and memories will live on in all of us.
Services will be at Trinity Lutheran Church in October, please check back for times and military service to be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery.
