Robert J. Himmel

Robert J. Himmel, age 85, of Shelby Township, Michigan passed away on May 9, 2022. He is the loving father of Roberta Deroo (Robert), Patricia Doemer, and Cheryl Williams (John); Treasured grandfather of Nicholas Deroo, Danielle Kathleen, Amber Ethridge, Brandon Himmel, Justin Grifka, JR Williams, Ryan Doemer, Alisha Rosario, and Shelby Williams; Beloved great-grandfather of 18. He is preceded in death by his treasured wife, Anne Himmel, daughter, Marie Grifka, and grandson, Michael Deroo. Robert was known for his love of baseball and for his proud, honorable service in the United States Army. He will be greatly missed.

Services handled privately at this time. Robert and his wife, Anne, will be laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery.
