Robert Krajewski was called home to the Lord on May 15, 2020 at the age of 76. He was the beloved husband of Grace Krajewski for 50 years. He was the loving father of Lucille (Steven) Carbary and Robert Frank (Michael Zinevich) Krajewski. He was the cherished grandfather of Erin. He was the dear brother of Rose Karpinski, Frank (Sharon) Krajewski and Eleanor Krajewski. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his sisters Lillian Kortas and Gertrude Detkowski and brothers William Krajewski, Richard Krajewski, and Martin Krajewski.
Robert served in the US Army from 1967-1969 and completed a tour in Vietnam on the front lines. During his service, Robert advanced to the rank of Sargent.
He had a long career at Chrysler’s Jefferson Assembly plant, holding several positions over his 33 years, and retired in 2002.
Robert was the ‘Fix-it Guy’ for many of his family and friends. He enjoyed working on cars the most. It gave him great pride to know he could do something to help others be safe and to take care of them.
Visitation for Robert will take place on Friday, May 22, 2020 from 2 until 5pm at Resurrection Funeral Home. A private service will be held. Robert will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township.
