Robert J. Krolczyk, Sr., age 82, died June 8, 2018. He was born September 28, 1935, the Beloved son of the late John and Stella (Laski). On July 5th 1957, Bob met his bride, Lynn (nee Sortman) and were married 2 months later on September 5, 1957. As their love story began, they had 3 children, Pre-deceased son, Robert Jr., daughter Michelle, and son Shawn (Cyndi). Robert is cherished by his grandchildren, Jason, Justin (Heather), Ryan, Ashley, Desiree (Brad), Katlyn (Zack), Austin, Shaun and Taylor. He is the loving Great-Grandfather to Savannah, Luke, Jasmine, Wyatt, Weston and Lincoln. While loving and taking care of his family, Bob enjoyed fishing, hunting and was an avid sports fan of the Detroit Red Wings and the Detroit Tigers. He was involved with many other activities as well. He was first employed as a draftsman with Stellar Engineering and then he went to work for Ford Motor Company, where he retired after 37 years of service. He then became a part time Dealer Trader Driver, for Dorian Ford. He was also an active member and past President of the F.O.E. 1269 Mt. Clemens. He is greatly loved and will be missed dearly by his family and friends including Steve "Boo" Pelshaw and Chris "Wannabee" Lewis. Visitation Monday, June 11, 2018 from 3 pm to 8 pm with a 1269 Eagles service along with sharing of memories at 6 pm at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes, Clinton Township. Funeral Service Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 11 am at the funeral home. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township, Michigan. Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated.
