He was the beloved husband of the late Betty Jane Magness; loving father of Debra (Greg Boos) Magness, Thomas (Maureen) Magness, MaryAnne (Mike) Carosio, the late William Magness, Catherine (Robert) Hoefer, Suzanne (George) Zsude, and Mark (Suzan) Magness; devoted grandfather to Jennifer Wedding, Lauren VanDam, Jenna Carosio, Robert Hoefer, Jr., Amy Hoefer, Ashley Hoefer, Emily Magness, Christina Magness, Madison Magness, Mark Magness, Jr., and great-grandfather of Cayla Linder. Brother to Joan Schoenherr and uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Visitation Sunday, July 13, 3 – 9 p.m. with a scripture service at 7 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield, Clinton Twp.
Instate Monday, July 14, from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass 11 a.m. at St. Blase Catholic Church, 12151 15 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights.
