Robert was passionate about his career in photography, capturing moments for families to cherish for a lifetime. He was an avid bowler, with a love for the sport. He was really good at it as well with a record of 19 300 games in his bowling career. When he was not bowling he also enjoyed Golfing.
Robert is survived by his Loving wife of 61 years, Elaine Nelson, his children Sherrie (Scott) Hebel & Neil Nelson; His grandchildren, Ryan & Erin Nelson, Samantha & Thomas Hebel Perkins, Shelby Hebel, Sydney Hebel & Shane Hebel; Great Grandchildren, Devin Slabiak, Robert J. (RJ) Nelson, Theodore E. Hebel Perkins.
A visitation for Robert will be held Wednesday, November 1, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM with a Funeral Service held at 6:00 PM at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd., Clinton Township, Michigan 48035.
