Robert S. Rachas

He was a proud veteran having served in the United States Marine Corps. He retired from the Detroit Mounted Police Department after 25 years of service. In his retirement years he truly enjoyed fishing and family.

He is survived by his wife, Donna; children, Gregory Rachas, Donna (Dale) Jackson, Patricia Lentine, Margie (John) Thompson, Heather (Michael) Moilanen Miller and Angela (Robert) Pokrywka. Grandchildren, Alexis (Kele) Schneller, Shelby Thompson, Ryan Rachas, Brandon (Tara) Rachas, Maxwell Moilanen, Olivia Miller and Hayden Miller. Great-grandchildren, Lukas Schneller, Emmy Kay Schneller, Braden Rachas and Lennox Rachas. He was preceded in death by his parents Mary Ann and Stanley Rachas.

He is loved and missed by his in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services are entrusted to Resurrection Funeral Home and he will be laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
