Beloved husband of the dearly loved and treasured Hope Renshaw for 18 years; adored father of Robert "Bob" Renshaw, Jr., Mark (Kim) Renshaw, Debra "Debbie" (Eugene) Pickutoski, and Jeffrey "Jeff" Renshaw; proud grandfather of Stephanie (David), Mark (Hannah), Jacklyn "Jacki" (Grant), and Kathryn "Kay"; great-grandfather of William, Carolyn "Carlie", and Joseph; dear brother of Kathleen "Kitty" Marchione and the late John "Chick" Renshaw. He was preceded in death by his first wife, the love of his life, Patricia "Patty" Renshaw.
Bob proudly served his country with the United States Army. He continued to be active with VFW Post 6691 volunteering as Santa for many years, the Military Order of the Cootie, and with Martha T. Berry Medical Care Facility in Mt. Clemens. Bob was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Parish and could often be found volunteering for various events and festivals. He worked at Sears as a repairman for many years, but he most loved time off with his beautiful wife and family. Bob truly enjoyed retirement time because he could travel, enjoy winters in Florida, and spend time with his family and friends. Through the years, when not working, he most enjoyed his time camping, or being Up North with his wife, family, and their very much loved friends. The Annual Canoe Trips (54+ years) were always a highlight.
Bob always loved raising a shot to celebrate life and had been said to "drink the bar". He was, however, banned from drinking Tequila. Wednesday night dinners became tradition, always with an open door for anyone to stop by. Bob's twinkle in his eye and great laugh and giggle will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
The family would like to thank Brookdale Assisted Living for their kindness, compassion, and loving care of Bob.
