Bob was a caring man who often had a laugh and smile to make light of a situation. Throughout his life, no matter what was going on, he always made it a point to be at the important family events. Over the last year, he showed his true compassion and love.
Bob enjoyed his short-lived retirement, spending his free time reading, watching movies with his brothers, taking walks with his sister and her dog Kloey, and being with his family and friends that he loved so much. He enjoyed listening to music, especially Frank Zappa tunes. Bob lived life to its fullest. Whatever he did, he was "all in."
Bob looked forward to going Downtown every year for "Friday Free Day" for the Detroit Grand Prix. He was known to have a good time and sometimes enjoyed going to the "local establishments" for a few "adult beverages" and games of Keno.
Family gatherings and celebrations, annual canoe trips, trips up north, times spent around a campfire, and "adulting adventures" with his family and deeply loved friends brought him joy.
During the past few weeks, his courage was shown as he comforted his family with his words "It is what it is," said with a smile and quiet acceptance. He hoped everyone would remember the love and the good times shared together.
Bob is survived by his brothers, Mark (Kim) Renshaw and Jeffrey "Jeff" Renshaw; nieces and nephews: Stephanie (David), Mark (Hannah), Jacklyn "Jacki" (Grant), and Kathryn "Kay"; great nephews and niece: William, Carolyn, and Joseph; step-mother, Hope Renshaw; brother-in-law, Eugene Pickutoski; and very dear friend, Mike Fleury. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia "Patty"; father, Robert "Bob", Sr.; and sister Debra "Debbie" Pickutoski.
