Bob enjoyed being outdoors, especially his cottage in Irish Hills, or in younger years, on the water in his boat. He was always generous of himself to others. Bob loved his family, and will be deeply missed.
Bob is survived by his son, Kyle Von Kampen; the mother of his son, Carol Von Kampen; his siblings, Lori Jones, Sherrie (Tom) Mijal; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Jones, Ryan Jones, Erik Jones, Jessica Mijal, Daniel Mijal; and extended family and life long friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Carol (Gullickson) Von Kempen; and his beloved dog, Lucky.
Visitation will be held on July 15, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a Funeral Service taking place at 7:00 pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035.
