Robert J. Woychowski passed away on June 4, 2018 at the age of 88. He was the loving husband of the late Theresa for 20 years and the late Ruth for 22 years. He was the beloved father of Mary (Scott) Smith, Judy (Jack) Woychowski-Langlois, Sandra (Joseph) DeGeorge, and Deborah (Vince) Gerlando and the step-father of Kathy Burdick and the late Ron Burdick. He was the cherished grandfather of Sam Jr., Grace (Trevor), Jennifer, Anthony, Brian (Theresa), Maria, and the step-grandfather of Bryan.
Robert was a star basketball player at Harbor Beach High school where he met his wife Theresa. He was a proud Korean War veteran and served four years in the Air Force. Robert could be found spending time on his boat, Capt’n Bob, or spending his time living up to his title as Mr. Fix It. Robert will be remembered for the love he had for his family and his great sense of humor.
Visitation for Robert will take place on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 from 3 to 8 pm at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road in Clinton Township. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at the funeral home beginning at 11am. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Seasons Hospice.
