Ron and I worked together at AAA for many years. We were not just co-workers but great friends. I moved to Phoenix after retirement but I missed my in person friendship with Ron. We did stay in touch with emails and occasional phone calls which I valued. I will miss Ron very much.

Great 'COP', wonderful family man, and was the kind of 'Boss' that everyone wanted.  Never saw him angry (sure he must have been) but reasoned and deliberate in his decisions and actions.  Will be missed.

Ron was the officer who investigated me when I joined the Department.  We became good friends throughout the years. As police commanders, we shared many common experiences, both good and bad.  Throughout the years that we were associated, Ron was always a loyal friend and the perfect gentleman.

I had the distinct pleasure and privilege to have known and worked with Ron in my 25 years with the Detroit Police Department. He was the epitome of professionalism in each position he held in the Department and highly respected by his peers and by the officers he commanded. I am proud to have been a close friend of Ron. May his soul rest forever in eternal peace.
