Ronald S. Nestich

Ronald Stephen Nestich age 69 of Clinton Township, Michigan passed away July 29, 2012 in Shelby Township, Michigan. He was born June 21, 1943 in Mansfield, Ohio. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Bowling Green University and his Masters’ degree from Eastern Michigan University. He taught Physical Education in the L’Anse Cruese public schools, retiring after 33 years. He was a talented athlete in high school and college, and loved watching sports on television. He always remained an OSU sports fan. Family members said he was especially proud of his grand children. He is survived by his wife Ruth; children Stephen (Tamara) and Derek (Jodi); grand children Paige, Grace and Lily; his mother Wilma Pifer, and his brother Richard Miles. He was predeceased by his father Stephen. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-8:00PM with a funeral service Friday at 11:00AM at Resurrection Funeral Home 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
