With deep sadness we relay the passing of Sharon L. Delisi of Clinton Township, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Sharon passed away at the age of 86, peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Virginia, her siblings Hazel, Chuck, Raymond, Betty, Jackie, Bobby, her son Cari, and the love of her life, her husband Charlie. Sharon’s family meant the world to her. She is the proud mother of Kimball Shellnut (Sandy), Gerald Tucker (Dianna), Salvatore Delisi (Suzanne), Francesco Delisi (Zalina); grandmother of Jason Shellnut, Mandy Shellnut (Randy), Shannon DelPup (David), Brooke Daly (Paul), Ava Delisi, Charlie Delisi, Francesca Delisi, and Santino Delisi; great-grandmother of Odin Shellnut, Vivian Shellnut, Jack Kniffin, Reagan Kniffin, Lydia Hoffman, Mallory DelPup, Graham Daly, and Kennedy Daly.
Sharon dedicated her life to caring for her family, teaching kindness and respect, and most of all LOVE. She was deeply devoted to her family, cherishing every moment spent with them. She also found joy in traveling, playing board games and cards with her family, and nurturing her Christian faith. In recent months Sharon was unable to attend church in person, but she was a faithful and active member of Grace Christian Church in Sterling Heights for decades.
Sharon will be laid to rest privately at White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery in Troy, Michigan. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be sent in Sharon’s name to the Meals on Wheels of Macomb County.
