Dear Lorrie and Julie, I send you my heartfelt condolences. I have such happy memories of Aunt Shirl and Uncle Cork and all your family. I remember sharing the "american" thanksgiving with them at the cottage many times. I have such fond memories of childhood times spent with you both and Danny of course. We were able to share time together the summer he was at the Playhouse in Grandbend. My mom and dad were so excited to see him on stage! Your dad and Danny had a good laugh because they sat in the front row and my dad unstrapped his prothesis and turned his "legs" so they were pointing toes in towards each other -- it distracted the other actors but Danny thought it was hilarious!  
At the cemetary Aunt Joanne mentioned what a comfort it was to have so many of her neices and nephews arround her. I agree we are extremly lucky and a unique thing in these days to be blessed by a closeness to our extended family -- a tribute to our parents who instilled in us such a legacy of family values. Love to you both so much! Your cousin Carol(Bedard) Ducharme.

Shirley and Corky were a forever couple. Shirley will always be remembered as a great mom, grand mom and friend!

So sorry for your loss. May you be comforted by your fond memories.  I always enjoyed the times when my father brought us up to visit with Aunt Shirley and Uncle Cork.  Peace to you and your family, God Bless.

Aunt Shirley left us with so many good memories and will always be remembered for her welcoming manner and pleasant smile. She was motherly to all her nephews and nieces and the glue in my Uncle Cork's family. She cared about everyone and every thing and was never afraid to speak her mind. She would offer advise when asked and quickly lend a soft shoulder to lean on when needed. She will remain in our hearts and We will miss her always and forever. God bless my wonderful Aunt and her family in their grief.

For 90 years this world had the pleasure of Aunt Shirley's loving heart and sweet kindness. Now, she is sharing that gift in the heavens with those who went before her. Shirley will be missed. We enjoyed many golf outings and games of Lost Heir up in Canada. Her family, along with Chuck, will be there to greet her in heaven. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Bedard family, to whom I've always been very close.
