OBITUARY

Shirley Mae Hill

December 17, 1929October 11, 2021

It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Shirley Mae Hill of St. Clair Shores, age 91, on October 11, 2021. She is survived by her children Linda Danos, Patricia (Richard) Mueller and Robert (Garry Post) Hill; grandchildren Andrea Maroudis, Jennifer and Paula Mueller, Gloria (Scott) DeKeyser; great-grandchildren Phoenix Clifton, Jonathan (Brandi) Mueller, Hannah and Hailey Giurlanda, Morgan and Kacee DeKeyser; great-great grandchildren Frankie Mae and Ivan.

Shirley was employed for over 30 years for the Kowalski Sausage Company, mostly in their Fraser store. She married her beloved husband Jerry, who predeceased her, in September 1948. Together they lived many happy years in Roseville, Clinton Township and St. Clair Shores. Shirley was a loving wife and a caring and devoted mother and grandmother to her extended family. She loved playing euchre, visiting casinos and spending time with family and friends. Shirley and Jerry were longtime members of the Moose and the Eagles. Back in the day, she and the family loved to go camping in the summertime at Port Austin. She will be fondly remembered by all who had the opportunity to know her and spend time together.

A memorial service is being planned in the near future.
