Stanley A. Bryzelak, of Fraser, passed away surrounded by his family on November 13, 2018, at 91 years of age. Beloved husband of 70 years to Rita; loving father of Cindy (Rick) Azzopardi, Sandra (Paul) Dafoe, Denise (Larry) Marks, Debbie Bryzelak, and Stan (Bok-Hee) Bryzelak; proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, who all adored him; dear brother of Edward Bryzelak.
Stanley was born on September 18, 1927 in Hamtramck to the late Stanley and Marion Bryzelak. He was also preceded in passing by his siblings: Eleanor Bednarz, Anna Forys, Joseph Bryzelak, and Chester Bryzelak.
Stanley was an avid fisherman and enjoyed teaching his grandchildren his “secrets” on how to catch the “big one”. He valued tradition, family, and making his homemade Polish Kielbasa, which is something that has been passed down for generations. He will be greatly missed by everyone he ever met. He had a sign hanging in his basement, at his bar, which says “You are a stranger here but once”.
The family will greet friends from 1:00pm until time of funeral service at 4:00pm on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd., Clinton Twp., MI. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to Henry Ford Hospice as appreciation for their compassion and kind care of Stanley.
