Steven W. Guthrie

Steven Wayne Guthrie of Brockway Township, Michigan died Saturday, August 18, 2012 at the Port Huron Hospital after an emergency heart problem. Born in Detroit, Michigan May 18, 1958 to Charles Guthrie (deceased) and Donna Guthrie. Steve graduated from Denby High School, and was working for GM for more than 30 years. He loved his family, his home, the outdoors, his music, and his faith in God. We know he is now with his savior. Steve is survived by his wife Sandy and their five children: Jennifer and husband Wade Ringo , Christine Johnson, Ryan Guthrie and wife Keia, Joe Johnson and wife Glenda, and Stephanie Guthrie. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters: Pam Csatari and husband Bill, Laurie Schwab and husband Dan, Donna Lee Guthrie, and Michael Guthrie. Steve was also blessed with a large and wonderful family including brothers and sisters-in-law, grandchildren, nephews and nieces. The family will receive visitors at Resurrection Funeral Home, Clinton Township MI, on Wednesday, August 22 from 1:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. with a celebration of Steve's life at 7:00 p.m. The family appreciates all expressions of sympathy.
