Susan spent her 41 year career as a Registered Nurse for Henry Ford Home Health & St. John Main on Moross. She was president of the Mark Twain Parents Club where she met many lifelong friends. Susan was extremely active and took pride in both coaching little league & leading the Girl Scout Troops. In her free time she loved reading and doing crafts, especially diamond art. She also really enjoyed trying her luck at the slots at Greektown casino, she would go with her son and her sister. Susan treasured her family and lived for her grandchildren.
Susan is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Mike Nirganakis; Children, Kyle (Lisa) Nirganakis, Lisa Zielkowski, & Ryan (Angela) Nirganakis; Grandchildren, Kaylin, Lucas, Logan, Nathan, Lily, Dylan, & Kevin; Siblings, Ben (Joyce) Emberton Jr., Patti (John) Edens, Ronnie (Sandy) Emberton, Carolyn (Tim) Lounsberry, & Lori (Eric) Buchholz along with many Nieces and Nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ben & Dolores Emberton (DeBruyne) and her sister Janet Greenwood.
A visitation for Susan will be held Sunday, November 26, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035.
The family will greet guests Monday, November 27, 2023 from 10:00 AM up until the Funeral Service at 1:00PM at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035.
Immediately following the Funeral Service a burial will take place at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East, 38425 Garfield Rd, Clinton Twp, MI 48038.
