Susan Bunch

She was born in Detroit to the late Nickolas and Helen (Mary) Tandaric. Susan lived with a deep devotion to her Christian faith. She had many different cleaning jobs throughout her life and she worked as a Parapro at Van Dyke Public Schools until retirement. She was a member of Maranatha Church of God for 40 years and took great joy in serving the church over the years. Susan was involved in almost all aspects of ministry from teaching Sunday School, to serving in the Ladies Ministry, to working as the church Secretary, to cleaning the church. She was a prayer warrior and loved her Bible Study Fellowship group.

Susan was a kind and social woman who never met a stranger. Her laugh was infectious and whenever you heard it you couldn't help but smile or laugh along. Susan was the kind of person that everyone wanted to be around. She loved traveling and hanging out with or going out to eat with friends and family. Larry and Susan traveled all over from Niagara Falls to Alaska, all around the U.S. and abroad. One of Susan's most beloved memories was when they traveled to Cancun with her sissy, Sally, and her late friend, Terri. As much as she loved to travel, nothing was more important to Susan than her family. Susan was an advocate for anyone who needed help. She would do anything to make sure her family and friends succeeded. Susan loved having her grandkids over. She also loved sitting in her tv room watching old western shows, Christian programming or Hallmark movies. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Susan will be missed dearly by all who survive her.

Beloved wife of Lawrence to whom she wed on April 23rd, 1983. Cherished mom of Scott (Kelly) Southerland, Jason (Toni) Southerland, and the late Loretta Markland. Loving grandma of Sarah (Josh) Grembos, Paige, Sean, Evie and Ally Southerland. Devoted great-grandma of Sophia. Caring sister of Sally (Larry) Boor and Mark (Laura) Tandaric. Also survived by her ex-husband and friend, Jim Southerland. She will be forever loved by her nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and church family.

Visitation Friday, July 8th at 3pm until 9pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Twp, MI 48035. Viewing Saturday, July 9th at 10am until time of Funeral Service at 11am at Maranatha Church of God, 13700 Stephens, Warren, MI 48089. Burial to take place at Christian Memorial Gardens West in Rochester Hills. No procession will take place. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Maranatha Church of God, 13700 Stephens, Warren, MI 48089 in Susan's memory are appreciated.
