Terry A. Aikins, age 67, passed away October 1, 2021. Terry retired after 30 years with Chrysler, as a machine repairman. He was a member of the UAW local 869. He and his wife Sheri were foster parents for 32 years and were involved in many aspects of the foster care system. He was an avid motorcyclist and a member of Wolverine Harley Davidson, as well as the road crew. Terry was a jack of trades. He enjoyed fishing and doing family activities. He held many responsibilities for their condo association. Beloved husband of Sheri for 44 years. Loving father of Kristi Aikins, Jeremy (Shelby) Aikins, Terri (Danny) Handyside, Clayton Aikins, Jesse Aikins, Nathan Aikins and Darlene (Matthew) DeCoster. Proud grandfather of Karyssa, Christian, Evan, Renae, Jace, Liam, Jaxson, Makenzie, Brycen, Danilynn, Cheyenne, Skyleigh, Lincoln and a soon to be baby boy Handyside. Dearest brother of Jean, James Jr., Sherrie, Sue, Rick and the late Edward. Visitation Saturday October 9, 2021, from 3pm until 8pm with a service at 7pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd., Clinton Township, Michigan 48035.
