Theresa “Terri” David passed away on July 27, 2018 at the age of 59. She was the loving wife of Richard Chris Harris for 26 years. The beloved mother of Gabriel David Harris and Brianna Renee Harris. She was the dear sister of Richard (Denise) David and Robert (Marcia) David. She was the caring sister-in-law of Bobbi June (the late Ronnie) Childers. Terri is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving parents George and Marie David.
Terri received her formal education at Michigan State and Grand Valley, and went on to educate others through her website activities in a number of areas as well as writing 8 books on causes that were of interest to her many followers. Whether it was gaining her private pilot's license or being an active member in the Jaycees, Optimist Club or the local Rotary Club chapter, she brought dedication and commitment to all her pursuits. Even while she was enduring a long term battle with her cancer, you could always find Terri at a Chippewa Valley High School Band Booster event, supporting her daughter, Brianna, as well as the entire band organization as well as cheering on her son, Gabriel's, athletic and academic achievements. She was a true friend to many, and willingly shared her time and talents with them.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 11am at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road in Clinton Township. Friends may visit the funeral home on Monday, July 30, 2018 from 3 to 8pm and Tuesday from 9:30am until the time of service at 11am.
