Thomas Watson Hayes

Thomas Watson Hayes, age 86, died September 9, 2018. Beloved husband of Estelle for 66 years. Loving father of Thomas W. (Regina), Sheryll (the late James) Martin, and Carrie (David) Kulasa. Dearest grandfather of seven and great-grandfather of nine. Dear brother of Barbara (Kenneth) Lemons. Thomas was predeceased by his parents Warren and Leona Hayes and his sister Shirley Robinson. Thomas proudly served in the Korean War in the U.S.A.F. He was also a proud member of the Boy Scouts of America, the Knights of Columbus, the Lanterns, the String of Pearls, and numerous other choir groups. Visitation Thursday, September 13, 2018 from 3-9 pm with a Scripture service at 7 pm at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes, Clinton Township. Instate Friday, September 14, 2018 from 9 am until time of Mass at 9:30 am at St. Michael Catholic Church, 40501 Hayes Rd, Sterling Heights. Interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan. Memorial contributions to the Fr. Solanus Guild or the Wounded Warrior Project would be appreciated.
