Thomas John Saura

Thomas Saura, age 79, passed away on April 3, 2012 in Orlando Florida after a prolonged illness. He was born May 11, 1932 in Roseville MI. He lived most of his life in Roseville and Sterling Heights, where he was an active volunteer in the community and church. His final year was spent in Orlando Florida near family, sunshine and sea, just as he always wanted. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Patricia (Patt) they were married for over 48 years and is survived by his children Michael (Brenda), Kathleen (Dennis) Deery, Steven, and Jeffrey (Terry O’Connor); grandchildren Steven, Joshua, and Thomas; siblings Tony, Maria, Nick, and Bill Saura; and caregiver Mary Holt. He lived his life to the fullest and will be fondly remembered for his caring spirit and tenacity for life. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 10 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township and Wednesday, April 11 instate 9:00AM until time of mass at 9:30AM at St Paul of Tarsus Catholic Church, 41300 Romeo Plank Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038.
