

Tom was born on April 23, 1953, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Robert and Edna Wolfer. He was raised in East Detroit, where he graduated from East Detroit High School. Following graduation, he worked for many years in the manufacturing industry.
Tom was known for his outgoing personality and never met a stranger. He enjoyed striking up conversations with just about anyone and was always happy to share a story or a laugh. An avid sports fan, he especially loved cheering on the Detroit Tigers. He was also an accomplished bowler, participating in bowling leagues for many years, and he never passed up the chance to enjoy a good meal with family or friends.
Tom was the brother of the late Robert Wolfer Jr., whose children are Tammy (Bill) Osephook, Deborah Wolfer, and the late Diane Wolfer, and April (Thomas) Bell, whose children are David (Nicole) Bell, Deborah (Len) Kowalkowski, and Steven Bell. Tom was also the great-uncle of six and the great-great-uncle of three.
Funeral services will be private.
