Tim earned a Bachelor's degree in education, and a Master's degree in special education. He was a very knowledgeable man who loved teaching, both in and out of school.
Tim was a very dedicated worker his whole life. A classic work-a-holic, he never slowed down. He launched a wallpaper removal business while teaching full-time with the help of his wife. This business kept him busy after school and during school breaks. He considered it one of his biggest personal successes and continued it full time even after his retirement from teaching.
Tim worked hard and played even harder. Outside of work, he enjoyed traveling, boating, snowmobiling, and spending time with his family and friends. Tim was an avid card player and particularly loved playing Euchre.
Tim was a generous man with a kind heart. He was known for his sage advice. He was always quick to offer a solution to a problem, often with the best and simplest approach. Anyone who knew Tim can point to a difference or impact he had made on their life. A gregarious person, he loved laughing and and making his friends laugh. He will greatly be missed.
He is survived by his wife Nancy, daughters Laura and Suzanne, son-in-law David, and four grandchildren Ava, Alden, Aurelua, and Adelina.
Tim will be honored with a memorial visitation on Friday, January 21, 2022 from 3-8 PM and a memorial service on Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 10-11:30 AM, both at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, Michigan.
