Tomiko was a member of the Michigan Okinawa Kenjinkai and regularly participated in activities at the Sterling Heights Senior Center, including Mahjong, ping-pong, and Zumba. She enjoyed trips to Las Vegas and visiting casinos, as well as going out to lunch with her friends.
Tomiko is survived by her sisters-in-law: Lottie (Lawrence) Grincewicz and Elizabeth Norrod; nieces: Alli (Shawn) and Sarah (Jeff); nephews: Matthew (Dena) and Bradley (Sarah); three great nieces; three great nephews; sister, Saeko Rouse; and brother, Akio Miyaguni. She is preceded in death by her husband, George Mlotkowski; and mother, Kiku Miyaguni.
A visitation for Tomiko will take place on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 from 4pm-7pm, with a service at 6pm, at Resurrection Funeral Home - 40800 Hayes Rd, Clinton Twp, MI. Tomiko will be laid to rest in a private ceremony with her family at Resurrection Cemetery.
